Tricia Stanley
Lead Director of Operations
She has over 20+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education Management of Apple Accredited Preschools. Specializing in management and accreditation requirements. She currently manages and directs all of Just For Kids schools. Tricia uses her knowledge and passion for children to ensure our school environments are safe, nurturing, and educational. Tricia also uses her education and licensing to further educate and guide our teachers on the most up-to-date techniques to guide our children in our schools curriculum. For the easiest transition into their Primary School.

Valerie Flowers
Director Just For Kids East
Has 34+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She began her career in Germany where her late husband served for 10 years. After that, she moved to Florida and continued her career with the Childcare Association, known now as ELC of Brevard. She started with Just For Kids as the Director in 2022, she has taught all ages but loves VPK. Getting to see their minds at work and learn is a great accomplishment. .

Brooke Mercado
Director Just For Kids Palm Bay
​A wife and mom to a beautiful little girl. She loves to stay home and be with her family. She started with Just For Kids in 2022 as an infant and two-year-old teacher at our East location. She loved being with the children and helping to guide them as they learn and grow. She decided to further her education in Early Childhood. She was proud and excited to get her Directors Credentials in 2024 and plans to continue her education. Coming to work every day and seeing all the children's faces and smiles is such a joy and to see them accomplish new things is such a great feeling!

Jennie Singletary
Director Just For Kids Rockledge
Jennie is a mother of two and has 1 Grandson and 1 Granddaughter. She loves spending time with her family and attending all the activities her grandchildren are involved in. She has 40+ years in Early Childhood Education, 35 of those years she has guided children, helped set curriculums, and run the daily operations as an Assistant Director. She has worked for Just For Kids since they expanded and purchased their first Childcare center in Brevard County in 2018. She is excited to start at the newest location in Rockledge as the Director.

Cheyenne Schaffer
Director Just For Kids Titusville
A wife, a mom of 2 boys and 1 girl. She loves spending time at home with her family. She rode horses in high school as well as participated in FFA by showing cows. She started working for Hovis & Box, LLC in 2020 as a manager of our sister business, Woods 2 Water Apparel. In 2021 she chose to start her education and career in Early Childhood Education. She loves coming to work and seeing the excitement on the children's faces when they accomplish something they couldn't before. Or the wonder in their eyes as they learn about new things. She looks forward to furthering her education and growing with our children and families.

Patricia Davenport
Director Just For Kids Rockledge
​Is a mother to three boys and a grandma to 2 girls and 4 boys. She loves spending time with her family. She has lived in Florida for over 20 years. Patty began teaching in 1994 in New York, teaching is her love and passion. She has been with Just For Kids since 2020, when she started as the VPK Teacher at our Just For Kids East location. She is excited to further her education this year, she is enrolled to get her Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. She was nominated Employee of the Year in 2021. Her mission in life is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Thomas Schaffer
VP of Operations
Is a father to three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. He started with Hovis & Box, LLC in 2020 where he has worked in different positions at our sister businesses. He chose to pursue his career in childcare due to his love for children and his desire to better each day for the students. He loves coming in and hearing them talk about their new accomplishments or what new things they have learned. He directs all the Just for Kids centers and ensures the daily operations are being followed per guidelines set by accrediting state agencies. The care of our children and teachers is our priority. He plans to further his career in Early Childcare this year to better serve our children and families.
